1. About This App

Rummy Smart Score is a personal score-tracking application for Indian Rummy card games. It is operated by an individual developer and is not affiliated with any company.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to run the app:

• Phone number — used as your login identifier. We do not verify or contact you at this number.
• PIN — stored as a one-way hash (bcrypt). We cannot read your PIN.
• Game data — player names, scores, and game history that you enter yourself.

We do not collect your real name, email address, location, device identifiers, or any other personal information.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to:

• Authenticate you when you log in
• Store and display your game scores

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, or profiling beyond the above. If this changes, this policy will be updated and you will be notified in-app before the change takes effect.

4. Advertising

The app currently shows no advertisements. If we introduce ads in the future, they will be served through a third-party ad network (such as Google AdMob). That network may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads, subject to its own privacy policy. We will update this policy and notify users before enabling ads.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

The app is currently free with no in-app purchases. If we introduce a paid subscription or one-time purchase in the future, payments will be processed by the platform provider (Google Play or Apple App Store) directly. We will not receive or store your payment card details. Subscription management and cancellation will be handled through your platform account settings.

6. Data Storage

All data is stored on a PostgreSQL database hosted by Railway (USA). Data is not shared with any third parties.

7. Third-Party Services

The app currently loads the following resources from third-party CDNs:

• Bootstrap CSS & JS — from cdn.jsdelivr.net
• Sortable.js — from cdn.jsdelivr.net
• html2canvas — from cdn.jsdelivr.net

These are loaded only to render the app's interface. No personal data is sent to these services. jsDelivr's privacy policy is available at jsdelivr.com.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. To delete your account and all associated data, contact the developer at sampath.uday@gmail.com and we will remove it within 7 days.

9. Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Security

Passwords (PINs) are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. All traffic is encrypted via HTTPS.

11. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes materially, the updated date at the top of this page will reflect it. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
